Active matrix displays using SiPix ePaper are used for many applications including electronic books on flat or curved surfaces. The electronic paper is laminated on a rigid or flexible matrix-patterned backplane, individually addressing each pixel. No e-paper film alignment with the matrix backplane is necessary.
